AbilityMic — Speak Freely. Live Fully.
An AAC system designed for real, everyday communication — built for people who cannot speak, struggle with speech, or need support expressing themselves. Natural voices, intuitive boards, smart AI assistance, and full offline mode.
Why AbilityMic Exists
AbilityMic was created for someone very real — a child in our family who struggled to communicate using existing AAC tools. Traditional apps were too slow, too limited, too clinical, or simply overwhelming. We built AbilityMic to be different: warm, fast, intuitive, and designed for real conversations.

Speak it fast
Tap pictograms or phrases and AbilityMic speaks for you with a natural voice.

Be understood
Speech recognition turns your words into clear, readable and audible messages.

Do things with AI
Ask the assistant to open apps, send prepared messages, or control smart-home devices — with your permission.

Online & offline
Core features work without internet. Go online to sync, share, and collaborate.
What is AbilityMic?
An easy-to-use AAC app with customizable communication boards, natural-sounding text-to-speech, voice recognition, and AI assistants that help turn communication into action.

Smart Communication Boards
Create boards with pictograms, words, and phrases. Organize into folders, add navigation, and mark favorites for one-tap access. Import/export popular AAC formats.

AI that helps beyond words
With clear permissions, AbilityMic can open apps, organize files, send prepared messages, and control compatible smart-home devices — so communication leads to action.

“My daughter can finally share what she needs — the boards are simple to use and quick to customize.”
Parent tester

“Offline mode is a lifesaver at school. Syncing later keeps our boards up to date.”
Teacher

“The AI assistant helps me open apps and turn on the lights — small steps, big independence.”
