AbilityMic is designed as an accessible AAC experience across Apple platforms. The list below reflects the accessibility features we currently support and the matrix intended for App Store Connect.

Implementation Notes
- Sufficient Contrast is enabled for iPad as well. The shared SwiftUI codebase already includes high-contrast support and WCAG contrast helpers.
- Larger Text is enabled for Mac Catalyst. The app uses Dynamic Type-aware text styles, and macOS explicitly bumps Catalyst to
.xxLargeinAbilityMicApp. - Before final App Store Connect submission for Mac, verify manually in System Settings → Appearance → Allow apps to request larger text.
- — means the capability is not available for that platform in App Store Connect or is not something we should claim for AbilityMic without separate validation.
Validate Before Claiming
The following items should not be added to App Store Connect or marketing copy until they are verified end-to-end in QA for the relevant platform and OS version:
- Live Speech
- Personal Voice
- Captions for tutorials or demos
- Haptic alternatives for audio-only feedback
- Assistive Access beyond iPhone and iPad
- Cognitive support claims such as Reduce Distractions or simplified or customizable UI badges beyond what the current product copy already documents
Accessibility Statement
Kierepka.pl is committed to making AbilityMic and this website accessible to everyone, in line with the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and the harmonised standard EN 301 549.
- Conformance target: WCAG 2.2 Level AA — which goes beyond the WCAG 2.1 AA baseline required by EN 301 549.
- Scope: the AbilityMic apps (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Apple Vision Pro, Windows, Linux) and the abilitymic.com website.
- Status: partially conformant — we audit every new UI flow against WCAG 2.2 AA before release; features that have not yet been verified end-to-end are listed above and are not claimed.
- Assistive technology tested: VoiceOver, Switch Control, Full Keyboard Access, Larger Text / Dynamic Type, Reduced Motion, high-contrast modes.
- Feedback mechanism: report any accessibility barrier to support@abilitymic.com — we aim to respond within 5 business days and treat accessibility defects as release blockers.
